Your cards stay on your iPhone
Metwith has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Cards you scan are read on your iPhone and never sent to us. The only thing that ever goes online is your own card, and only if you choose to put it online.
Cards you scan
- The photo and the text of each card are read on your iPhone by Apple's text recognition and kept in the app.
- Your notes, tags, events and follow-up days stay in the app.
- Contacts: a card goes into your Contacts only when you tap Save. Metwith reads Contacts only to tell you when someone is already there.
Deleting a card deletes it from the app; you choose whether the contact stays in Contacts. Deleting the app deletes everything it kept.
Your own card
Your card (your details, photo and logo) is kept in the app. When you share it as a picture, a contact or a QR code, it goes where you send it.
If you put your card online, the details on it, your photo and your logo are stored on our server so that anyone with the link (metwith.app/c/…) can see the card and save your contact. The page asks search engines not to list it and isn't linked from anywhere. Only your iPhone can change it. "Take it offline" deletes it from the server straight away.
Logos from a website
When you ask Metwith to get your logo from a website, your iPhone asks that website for the icons and logos it publishes. Nothing else is sent, and only the site you typed is asked.
Metwith Pro
Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
NFC stickers
When you write your card to an NFC sticker, the sticker holds your card's link. Anyone who taps it with a phone opens your card.
Children
Metwith is a tool for work and isn't aimed at children.
